2003 Server Asks fos Login and Password Everytime

Default 2003 Server Asks fos Login and Password Everytime

My new XP (SP2) loses the login and password to connect to a mapped net unit
everytime I logoff... there is no "save password" option...

Any idea ?

Default 2003 Server Asks fos Login and Password Everytime

Use a batch/script file in the All Users/Startup program group on the PC to
make the connection, like this:

net use d: /d
net use d: \\server\share [password] /USER:[username]

Are you using a domain or a workgroup? If a domain, is your computer joined
to the domain (available in XP Pro only) and do you log into the domain?
