WinXP Patch 811493 Issues.!!

I had the same problem. 811493 has an uninstall in
add./remove rpograms. THat resolved it.

I installed the same update on 4/17/2003 and had to do a
system restore on 4/18/2003 to fix the system hang &
slowdown ISSUES.It also changed the OS BUILD #.
The Event Log had a lot Errors Logged when System Hangs.
Also what I would tell anyone to do is set a Restore
Point Before you Install ,I know it is set to do this
By it self but sometime it don't.And always have it
prompt You before UPDATEING. Like in this case 2 updates
Were set to Install at same time,Q817287 and 811493 so
I sets (1) one Restore for Both.AndQ817287 Had NO
UNINSTALL PROGRAM FILE.Some updates are like that...
