Default Loss of voice on MSN

I have set up a network in my house.
The router is a Netgear Wireless Router, Model MR314.
My O/S is Windows XP Pro.
My Firewall is Norton Personal Firewall.

I can send and receive photographs using MSN Version 4.7
But I have lost Voice Communication.

Can anyone please help me?

Greetings James,

Unfortunately to use voice/video through a router, the router must support Universal Plug and
Play (UPnP) or have some built-in support for Messenger voice capability-- which the MR314
does not.

However, you may be able to get around this problem by using ENat for Messenger:
