Default Administrator Password

Hello,

I have forgotten my Admin password on XP Pro but have a user who has
administrativce rights. If i try to reset the admin password there us a
warning about loss of data etc. I did not have the courage to go ahead with
it.

Is the resetting of the admin password safe to do or will I end up having
problems?

Thanks in advance for any input.
Regards

I have never experienced any problems myself.

Generally there are no problems unless there are encrypted files
involved.
