Default Microsoft 2007 auto-click?

How come I can just point to something and it'll get clicked? Is this a new
feature in Microsoft 2007? Is there any way to modify this?

Never heard of "Microsoft 2007".

Have you installed TweakUI and enabled X-mousing? Or do you have other
software with that capability? Turn off that feature and your mouse will
return to normal.
