Default How do I access Remote Desktop in IE??

I have Remote Desktop set up on my comptuer right now and I can access it my
computer from any other computer using the "Remote Desktop" application, but
what I want to do is make it so that I can access my computer using Internet
Explorer from any computer (so that I don't have to have Remote Desktop
installed on the machine I want to access my computer from).
I have followed this guide to do this:
http://www.petri.co.il/install_remot...ndows_xp .htm
but it did not actually do anything for me. I tried to access it using IE
but it didnt work. What do I actually have to type in the address bar to
access it? http://12.218.*.*/TSweb/? (That's my IP address).

When I got to step 12 under "To install Remote Desktop Web Connection" on
the guide I wasn't sure what I needed to put as a User Name and Password.
Here is a picture of what I mean: http://www.angelfire.com/dc/haryy/win.JPG.

If anybody can help please feel free to Thanks!!

In order to use Remote Desktop, you'll have to use
a computer with Windows XP Professional installed
and use the built-in Remote Desktop utility. You cannot
use the Remote Desktop feature from just "any computer".

I am talking about access my computer from within IE from a different
location. This should work. Here is a picture of what I am talking about:

I can access my computer from anywhere that has remote desktop installed on
it but I want to be able to go onto my computer using Internet Explorer.

I know that you can do this because I have seen it done before. Please let
me know. Thanks!!

That's incorrect Carey. The machine being accessed remotely must be using
WinXP Pro, but it can be accessed by virtually any Windows machine. You can
download and install the stand-alone access files here that will work on any
machine Win95 and up:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...dclientdl.mspx

For the web portal, the WinXP Pro system must have IIS installed with the
proper segment under "world wide web services". Then it can be accessed
using http://ip_address/tsweb
