I have some rather large files that I cannot delete
because I keep getting the above error message. The
files were created by Norton Utilities in the directory
c:/recycler/nprotect. One of them is over 1.8 gb
Symantec was no help, they recomended renaming
the 'recycler' file then deleting the entire newly

named
file. The overlooked the fact that 'recycler' was not
the 'lost' file. Gateway tried to delete the files
through the use of safemode, but going in through
safemode did not 'find' the files.

What I don't understand is how a file that is sitting

in
a folder that I am looking at is somehow 'not found'

Did
I mention 1.8 gb?!?

Any hepl would be great!!
.
If you have windows XP Pro version, then right click

that
file or folder, select properties, then security tab,

then
change the access permissions to full allow for your

user
profile and for the system.
