Default VCR to PC

I have a Sony Vaio PCV RZ22G. My question. How do I hook up my VCR
to the computer? Do I put my TV cable connection into the VCR and
then run a line into the TV tuner on the PC or do I connect the AV
(supplied with PC??) cords from the VCR into the back of the computer?
I cannot get a picture on the TV tuner from the VCR or am I supposed
to? Thatnk you for help Wlittle

Check the the Vaio manual as to whether you have TV-IN capability. I rather
doubt it... probably only TV-Out.

If the latter is the case you will have to purchase an analog capture
device... see www.vcdhelp.com for assistance on what to choose.

If this is a Vaio notebook, remember that notebook hard drives are
notoriously small. AVI files can be HUGE. I have a separate 120gb drive on
my desktop reserved JUST for captured stuff.
