Settings won't save.

Default Settings won't save.

After a clean install of winxp, i set up my internet
connection, etc. but when i reboot all those settings are
gone. and yes i log into my name witha password, HELP!

Hi,

Go to Start/Run and type in: service.msc
Scroll down to Protected Storage and verify that the service is started.

When all is done, apply this edit:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
