I'm using the search functionality by rightclicking and
selecting search to find files in a folder containing a specific word. This seems not to work as it worked in NT or W2K. Sometimes it can find a file eventhough I know it should result in more files. Most of the searches gives nothing. Please provide me with information why it behaves like this Regards |

Download Agent Ransack -
http://www.agentransack.com/default.aspx This is very fast, much more efficient than the Generic XP one, will also find hidden or protected files & appears on your rightclick menu. It also allows you to elect to search any multiple folders of your choice at one time - eg. Progam Files & Administrator on your C: drive & at the same time, other folders of your choice on another partition or drive. Many XP owners now use it. johnf Hi, See if this helps: Content Search Does Not Search All File Types for the Specified String http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;309447 "Göran Walltott" wrote in message ...
