Dual Monitor
Brand new HP Pavillon A1560N XP SP2 Multi Midia Addition; Monitor HP VS 17
flat. In device manager there are twomonitors listed; getting rid of one doesn't work it will come up again at restart. If a user/guest is disconnecting, the master will loose the monitor and has to manually turn off the PC. The dealer says is a setting pro, I asume it's a software pro. Any help? Andrea |

Many video cards have connections for two monitors. One connection is analog
and one digital or DVI. Device manager will also show two if this is the case. "Andrea" wrote in message ... Brand new HP Pavillon A1560N XP SP2 Multi Midia Addition; Monitor HP VS 17 flat. Thanks Jerry.
So what should I do, if this is the case, to solve the problem: "If a user/guest is disconnecting, the administrator will loose the monitor and has to manually turn off the PC to get it back"? Do you have any Display Settings Icon in your task bar eg Nvidea
If so check the settings for the multi monitor support. Or in Win Display Properties, check defaults for Monitor / Adapter "Andrea" wrote in message ... Thanks Jerry.
