Explorer.exe crash "activemovie window" "memory could not be written"
I am getting a common error, when I even just single click a video
file, ActiveMovie Window....Memory could not be written there are many ppl that have this error, I googled. Nobody has a solution. It seems to have happened soon after I installed sp2. I tried changing my RAM, and I get the same error. I guess my optinos are formatting and reinstalling winxp and if that fails, then changing the motherboard and reinstalling xp. It could be to do with Windows media player. The file that crash show that association. I tried removing win media player via add/remove programs, associating them to a great video player called 'videoLAN' instead of WMP, but it still shows a WMP icon next to the video files. How can I get rid of WMP completely including the association and remove all traces of it?! I did the add/remove programs |
